Yikes. This baby fever is getting out of hand and needs to be stuffed back down… Today I found out that a friend/past colleague/old classmate is pregnant.. For the very first time, EVER, I feel kind of…jealous. Just a smidge. Maybe because two weeks ago I thought I was and then got a negative test. I was more disappointed than I was expecting…I’ve never wanted to see a positive before. I was kind of excited at the idea. It’s a weird feeling, wanting it like this. It’s strange. Foreign. I’m ready, but I still haven’t completely come to terms with being ready because it’s new and weird and I still can’t believe I’m actually wanting it, because a year ago I was not at all ready. I’m still not sure what happened. I guess it was the same thing that happened when I met Casey….one day I was barely ready for a casual relationship and suddenly I was falling head over heels in love with some boy I met on the Internet.
